This half-term in Starlings Class, we will be reading Hansel and Gretel, illustrated by Anthony Browne. This will form the basis of our reading and our English lessons in which we will be writing narratives.

In Maths, we will be focusing on place value before moving onto addition and subtraction.

We will be looking at Spatial Sense in Geography and learning about the various systems in the human body in Science.

In Art, we are exploring colour and shape, learning about how we can mix different shades and tints of colours to enhance our artwork.

In R.E., we will be asking the question: " Why do Jewish families talk about repentance at New Year?", as we explore the Jewish festival of Rosh Hashana.
