Special Educational Needs & Disability (SEND)

In this section you will find information regarding the approach we take to children with special needs. There is a link to the Norfolk Local Offer regarding the arrangements for children with special needs.

Working as a partnership means that we have access to our Partnership Learning Hub called The Nest, that supports children with bespoke educational offer that meets the specific needs of children.

If you have any concerns, then please come and talk to us. Mrs Peate and the team will work closely with every family to support the best educational offer for all children.

Mrs Peate can be contacted by email mpeate@trinitypartnership.norfolk.sch.uk or you can contact her via the school office.

Thank you to our parents who helped shape the offer.

If you think your child may have SEND please speak to their class teacher in the first instance then Mrs Peate.

Under the SEN Code of Practice a young person has SEND if they:

  • have a significantly greater difficulty in learning than the majority of others of the same age, or
  • have a disability which prevents or hinders him or her from making use of educational facilities of a kind generally provided for others of the same age in mainstream schools.
