Pupil Premium and School Premium Reports

Pupil Premium and Sport Reports

Please find details of how we have used the sport and pupil premium grants to improve outcomes for our pupils:

  • Sport at The Norman

At Norman, we value the importance of Sports and Physical activity and the impact of these on physical development, mental wellbeing and academic progress.

Along with PE lessons, swimming, after school clubs, active morning sessions and our sports day, we also hold an annual Football Tournament, where local schools come and compete, it is always a huge success!

We invest in the specialist support of an external Sports Coach to support our Teachers in teaching PE. They also run after school clubs and a morning active session that prove very popular.

Please see link below to book your child onto the after-school clubs and / or Active Morning session.

    Swimming

Our Year 6 children attend swimming lessons on Wednesdays, they travel by coach to Feltwell school.

Each pupil is required to be able to do the following by the end of their time in Primary School:

    • Perform safe self-rescue in different water based situations
    • Swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres
    • Use a range of strokes effectively, for example, front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke.
  • Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools so that they can support their disadvantaged pupils and close the attainment gap between them and their peers.

We are expected to report how we spend these funds each year.  See below buttons that will take you to these reports.
